2025 has been a year where many dreams came to life, and we at Nordic Surrogacy have had the privilege of supporting more families than ever on their journey to parenthood. As we wrap up the year, we’d like to share a few highlights and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who’s been part of this journey.

Parents share their stories

One of the most meaningful parts of our work is helping people understand what surrogacy is and how the process works. That’s why it means so much when parents share their experiences. Your stories, reflections, and feedback help others gain insight into the journey. For us, your feedback is invaluable. It gives us energy, motivates us to keep improving our services, and reminds us why we do what we do.

This year, we’ve also had the joy of welcoming several visits to our office from both intended and new parents. Those meetings are always something truly special.

Meet & Greet with families

This year, we hosted two Meet & Greet events, bringing together intended parents currently in the process, families who have already welcomed children through surrogacy, and members of the Nordic Surrogacy team.

– We’ve long wanted to create an opportunity for everyone in our community to connect. It’s a perfect way to build relationships, share experiences, and feel less alone on this journey. Plus, it’s wonderful for families to meet more of the people behind the scenes, says Jonas Sternulf-Gleditsch, Marketing Director at Nordic Surrogacy.

Since 2016, Nordic Surrogacy has helped hundreds of individuals and couples achieve their dream of parenthood. We hope these Meet & Greet events will become a regular tradition, giving us the chance to meet both new and familiar faces.

Webinars and information sessions

Throughout 2025, we’ve hosted several well-attended webinars and information sessions. These events allow us to reach more intended parents and provide the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about surrogacy.

Wish for a Baby – Berlin and Cologne

This year, we participated in the Wish for a Baby fair twice, first in Berlin and then in Cologne. This event brings together people who share the same dream: to start or grow their family.

Our team was there to answer questions and guide attendees through different options based on their unique circumstances. We had many meaningful conversations with intended parents. We were also thrilled to have our German expert, Nicole, with us during the fair. Her presence provided intended German parents with a valuable opportunity to learn about the legal process.

In addition, we hosted a well-attended seminar where we debunked common surrogacy myths and outlined the steps of the process, from initial preparations to becoming a parent.

Strengthening Partnerships

In 2025, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming partners from various clinics and organizations to our office, while also visiting clinics ourselves. These meetings are essential for deepening collaboration, exchanging knowledge, and continuing to grow together. What we learn from these visits is immediately applied to our daily work, helping us improve our services and provide even stronger support for intended parents.

When we visit our partners, it’s important to us to meet everyone involved in the process. During our recent trip to Colombia, we hosted a lunch with some of the women who make parenthood possible for our families. Hearing their personal stories and experiences is always incredibly moving.

New Destination – Mexico!

An exciting highlight this year is the launch of a new destination: Mexico! We understand that every family’s situation is unique and that needs can vary. That’s why we’re committed to expanding and diversifying our programs. Now that Mexico is available, we can offer intended parents even more options.

Our Organization Keeps Growing

Our mission is to make parenthood accessible and possible for everyone, while ensuring a safe surrogacy process with personal guidance every step of the way. To help more families, we’ve expanded our team in both Stockholm and Colombia. We’ve also welcomed two French-speaking coordinators to strengthen support for our French-speaking families throughout the process.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we look toward 2026, we’re excited to continue providing secure and seamless surrogacy journeys. We’ll keep developing our programs and strengthening partnerships so we can help even more intended parents achieve their dream of parenthood.
